Back to Capel for Eventing
Competitors ventured back to Capel on the weekend of the 15/16th of March to compete at the Kingsfield Equestrian Capel HPC CCI-s 4*. With classes from 50cm to 4* heights, the weekend was jam-packed with off the track competitors pursuing success.
105 retired racehorses were entered to compete at this event. With three OTT exclusive classes and best performed awards available for all star classes, the competition was hot amongst the off the track eventers.
The OTT65cm class saw eighteen retired racehorses set to compete against their peers.
With two horses retired or eliminated, there were sixteen finishers. Results are as follows:
- Done Deal and Rob Vlasschaert
- Liber Archie and Holly McClune
- Petersburg and Eva McCarron
- Divine Shadow and Amy Lockhart
- Written with Blood and Siena Stasiw
- Mistafoo and Eliza Hutton
Congratulations to these horses and riders. Some of these horses were competing at their first eventing start and have already proven themselves to be strong competitors. We wish them all the best for the remainder of the eventing season.
The OTT80cm class saw eighteen retired racehorses entered to compete against their peers.
This class saw some strong competitors return to compete, with some moving up for their first 80 start from the 65 classes. Results from this class are as follows:

- Shinju and Samantha Cook
- Ducati and Sophie Duncan
- Candour and Emma Duncan
- Soaring Lad and Georgia Homewood
- George Street and Georgia Sharpe

The OTT95cm class had thirteen retired racehorses entered, with one elimination.
Results from this class are as follows:

The CCN Star classes were well supported with off the track competitors, with some of the below winning their classes along with receiving Best Performed OTT Horse awards for their classes.
