Bunbury Summer Jumping with Off the Track WA

Bunbury Summer Show Jumping Series kicked off on the 15th of February with 16 off the track entrants. Proudly sponsored by Off the Track WA, we were thrilled to have our prizes and awards received by both Thoroughbreds and Standardbreds.

Champion Thoroughbred was won by Tiger Move, piloted around by Jorjia Silverster. Tiger Move is a seven-year-old Thoroughbred gelding bred by Geisel Parks super sire, All American. Retiring from racing in 2023 after 30 racing starts, Tiger Move is now transitioning into his off the track career in show jumping.

Reserve Champion Thoroughbred was secured by Satiric, ridden by Alison Hanson. Satiric retired from racing in 2019 with trainer, Brett Pope. After 16 racing starts, Satiric has transitioned into his off the track career.

Champion Standardbred was won by Good Riddance and Emilia Scheffner. By American Ideal USA, Good Riddance raced in twelve starts before retiring in 2020. It’s wonderful to see Standardbreds stepping out into more jumping and equestrian disciplines.

Reserve Champion Standardbred was awarded to Sky Me a River and Rachael Mead. Sky Me A River raced in 16 starts to claim four wins and just under $20 thousand dollars.

Off the Track WA are thrilled to see these horses excelling in their second careers after racing. The second Bunbury Summer Show Jumping event of the series is this weekend!
