I’ve had Shakey since he finished racing in 2022. He had a let down and slowly started his ridden journey, which he took to easily.
Shakey has had tons of experiences and exposure including OTTWA Clinics, XC days, Jump X events, ARC events and lessons as well as tuition under a private coach with me. His favourite thing to do is trail riding and he is fabulous at it. I ride solo most of the time and Shakey is my favourite to take out. He is fine with farm animals, machinery, cars and anything you’ll encounter out on the trail.
The reason for sale is he has tried his heart out for me to be a arena-based horse and he is not enjoying it. He will love a low-stress home with a horse friend or two and going out on the trail. He would likely be a great Endurance prospect. He is not a beginner horse being big, strong and needing a kind and firm leader. He’s full of character and super friendly to both people and other horses.
Shakey is great to float, vet, do teeth, and is barefoot. He needs front Scoots and will come with his current pair when sold plus some rugs and other items.
Price is slightly negotiable, the correct home is most important.
