Off the Track WA Clinics & Events – COVID-19 Statement
In response to the Federal Government and health authorities’ advice regarding coronavirus (COVID-19), Racing and Wagering Western Australia (RWWA) advises that its Off the Track WA clinics and events in partnership with Equestrian Western Australia, are postponed until further notice.
This decision has been made in alignment with the announcement by the Federal Government advising against organised non-essential gathering of persons of 500 people or greater, as a precautionary measure against COVID-19.
It is understood that Off the Track WA clinics and events may not attract a crowd of 500 people. However, the implementation of consistent risk mitigation is paramount to safeguarding the health and safety of our equestrian participants, and the wider community.
Participants who have signed up to the next scheduled clinic/competition on the 28th – 29th March in Busselton will be entitled to a full refund from Nominate. Also please note that due to the high volume of event cancellation requests your refunds may be slightly delayed.
RWWA will continue to closely monitor and follow the advice of health authorities to ensure that appropriate measures are in place to limit potential exposure for participants, spectators and staff.
In regards to Off the Track WA sponsored events, RWWA recommends participants contact the individual clubs and associations in regards to the status of their respective events.
